Block I Student Handbook
August 23, 2007
On behalf of the faculty, administration, staff, and student body, we are delighted to welcome you to the College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University.
This Block I Student Handbook has been developed as a collaborative effort between the Academic Programs Block I Office and the Office of Student Affairs and Services to provide you with essential information to guide you through your Block I curriculum. During pre-matriculation week, you will receive an orientation to the intensity of the Block I curriculum including the basic science courses, policies for CHM medical students, and resources available to facilitate your success. We hope you find the handbook and orientation sessions helpful. If you have any questions, please ask for clarification from either office.
Special thanks to the staff of the Office of Academic Programs and the Office of Student Affairs and Services who worked diligently to make this book a reality.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Lovell, Ph.D.
